The "Feather River" is the final output after all three branches of the upper Feather system (North Feather, Middle Feather and South Feather) combine into Lake Oroville, and then release and wind through the Oroville Wildlife Area. Serving as key steelhead and salmon grounds, the Feather River offers hard fighting sea run rainbows in an accessible and still wild landscape.
